Industries, both large and small, rely on CompAir rotary screw compressors for a supply of consistently high quality compressed air. Pre packaged with single connections for power supply, compressed air and built in cooling systems the installation of all CompAir L-series compressors is greatly simplified.
Screw compression elements are manufactured in-house using the latest CNC rotor grinding machinery, coupled with on-line laser technology, in order to maintain precise manufacturing tolerances. The resulting reliability and performance ensure that operating costs will remain low throughout the compressor life. |

New CompAir Screw Compressors with Power-Saving Motors
The redesigned L55 and L75 directly coupled CompAir screw compressors, with oil injection now need even less power. The sound-proofed compact units with double-pole, energy-saving motors now deliver 10.7 and 13.7 m?min respectively, at a working pressure of 7.5 bar (rated output 55 and 75 kW, pressure range 5 to 13 bar).
The machines have been fully redesigned inside and out. The new compressor air end is manufactured at CompAir's own factory in Simmern. It contains a fully integrated oil filter and thermostatic valve giving an optimum oil injection temperature and has been built to extremely low tolerances for maximum economic efficiency.

High performance and efficiency
The high capacity compression element, with low rotor tip speeds and optimized oil injection, gives high efficiency with maximum reliability. The latest CompAir designs ensure low system and compressed air temperatures. The guarantees excellent cooling and maximum service life for all components.
A maintenance free, reliable and effective drive concept
The compression element is driven at optimum speed for the application through a high efficiency V-belt system. The unique automatic belt tensioning device ensures correct belt tension at all times, reduced loading when off load and during start up, minimizes slip and is completely maintenance free during normal operation.
Low service costs
The innovative compressor design saves unnecessary service cost. All component parts are designed for a long service life. and the generously sized suction filters, oil filters and fine separators ensure excellent compressed air quality. All oil filters, and on the models up to 22kW (30hp) the separator elements, are spin on / off further minimizing service time. The Quick access service points allow servicing to be conducted in minutes and minimizing downtime and service costs.
Built in intelligent controls
Close operational control is essential to reduce running costs. All CompAir rotary screw compressors are supplied with intelligent, fully electronic controllers with simple controls and a user-friendly menu.
Speed regulated compressors
The CompAir LSR-series compressors compliment the standard L-series range and utilize a unique switched reluctance variable speed drive system. The drive system enables the compressor to match output to varying demands and as a result provide considerable energy savings. Adding an LSR compressor to any installation of standard L-series compressors gives the entire system the ability to precisely match output to demand allowing the compressors to consume exactly the right amount of energy to do the job, and no more.

LF Aircenter - Integrated compressor and dryer range
This new compressor range has been designed to offer customers a compact ready for operation packaged Aircentre that benefits from a small footprint and is easy to install, transport and relocate, fitting through the size of a standard doorway. With a single connection for compressed air and easy connections for power, the LF Aircentre range features an integrated dryer with an energy saving thermal mass unit
This new compressor and dryer unit, combines an L-Series rotary screw compressor with a refrigerant dryer. The new LF Aircentre range is available in 5 model sizes from the L07F to the L22F (7.5kW to 22kW).
Matched to the compressor the dryer unit is capable of delivering air dried to a constant pressure dewpoint of 3oC with no requirement for a refrigeration control valve, avoiding readjustments. With air quality and dryer reliability assured, the dryer unit switches off once dewpoint is reached and comes complete with large easy to change air filters which combine with an inlet moisture separator to guarantee the best performance possible.
Offering a range of outputs including 7.5kW, 11kW, 15kW, 18.5kW and 22kW, the LF Aircentre range is capable of producing up to 3.46 m3/ min at 7.5 bar, with the tallest unit measuring just 1450mm.

CompAir speed regulated rotary air compressors
The CompAir LSR series compressors incorporate a variable speed switched reluctance drive system of outstanding efficiency. The V07RS, V15RS and V22RS regulated speed rotary vane compressors use state- of-the-art inverter controls coupled to an EFF1 efficient drive motor. These compressors offer the ability to precisely match power consumption with air demand. The CompAir V75RS rotary vane compressor is a variable output compressor which switches to reduced speeds in order to match power consumption more precisely to air demand.
Maximum efficiency at any level of demand cuts energy costs and saves money.
The ability to precisely match output to demand allows the compressors to consume exactly the right amount of energy to do the job, and no more. This is achieved by varying the speed of the drive motor, and especially the LSR series compressors with a level of efficiency which can not be matched by any other conventional variable speed drive systems. |

Remarkable energy savings
With energy consumption in near perfect proportion to demand, the energy wasted with conventional regulation systems can be saved. Combine this energy saving concept with the CompAir designed, developed and manufactured compression element, giving high air output for minimum power consumption, and you have a formidable duo with proven energy saving potential. LSR-series compressors are able to accurately maintain a set pressure while responding instantly to changes in air demand. Maintaining air system pressure at an exact pre-set level eliminates the need to operate within pressure bands, enhancing efficiency still further.
CompAir's switched reluctance drive systems offer the most significant technological advance in rotary drives since the inception of the induction motor over a century ago and, combined with the latest features for control and monitoring, overcome many of the commonly accepted disadvantages of induction motors, still used in many applications today
New extended range
Building on the strength and reputation of the L45SR and L75SR which have successfully provided users with energy efficiency gains and operational costs saving of in excess of 25% over conventional compressors, CompAir have launched a new addition to the range. The L120SR offers a larger output of between 2.75m3/min to 19.84m3/min and pressures from 5 to 13 bar. This unit will produce even greater energy savings for larger air users.
Enhanced reliability
The CompAir Switched Reluctance drive systems are inherently soft starting, with smooth and controlled acceleration and deceleration, reducing stress on mechanical and electrical components. Compared to conventional variable speed drives, the electronically controlled regulation systems of the LSR-series simplifies system construction resulting in a 'less to go wrong' concept.
Easy, cost effective starting
All conventional motor drive systems require a high starting peak current. The LSR-series' compressor drive systems, however are able to start without any increase in power supply current above normal running levels.
Easy to operate and maintain
The compressor controller continuously protects your investment by monitoring every vital operational parameter. Tell the LSR-series compressor the pressure that you require and press the start button, its as simple as that. The compressor is designed to help reduce maintenance costs, it will provide you with advance indication of service requirements allowing you to schedule maintenance at convenient times.
Servicing is easy, quick and economical. All routine maintenance parts are conveniently grouped behind the hinged and removable service door, providing instant access and reducing service times.
